Overview:
In December of 2001, Inovar set a new standard by becoming the first EMS Provider in Utah to become registered to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. In 2004, Inovar again set the bar even higher by reregistering to ISO 9001:2000 and achieving Registration to ISO 13485:2003 (Standard for Manufacturing Medical Devices) Our system is functioning to improve our products and services through training, management involvement, and technological improvements. We strive to analyze and improve our processes to meet the current and future needs of our partners. All of our employees and suppliers are involved in our quest to achieve satisfaction by employing methods and techniques that foster continuous improvement and good business practice.

ISO 9001:2000:
Inovar Inc. is registered to the ISO 9001:2000 standard by SAI Global Inc. ISO 9001 is an international standard for Quality Management System development and implementation. The scope of our registration is the "Manufacture of Printed Circuit Board / Electro-Mechanical Assemblies." (Click here for a PDF of our ISO Registration certificate.)

ISO 13485:2003:
In January 2004, Inovar committed to becoming compliant and registered to the ISO 13485:2003 standard. In October 2004, Inovar was audited to this standard and passed. We have become one of the first EMS companies in the world to become registered to the ISO 13485:2003 standard. ISO 13485 is an international standard for the implementation of a Quality Management System for the Medical Device Industry. This ISO standard is complimentary and often times more stringent than the ISO 9001 standard. The scope of our registration is the "Manufacture of Printed Circuit Board / Electro-Mechanical Assemblies."

ISO 14001:2004:
In January 2008, Inovar had committed to becoming compliant and registered to the ISO 14001:2004 standard. We will be audited to this standard, by a compliance auditor, during our annual audit in January 2010. ISO 14001:2004 is an international standard that outlines the minimums for the Environmental standards. While not a requirement, we feel that it is important for us to do our part to ensure that Inovar is reducing our environmental footprint.

IPC Certifications:
Inovar, Inc. has 4 IPC Certified Instructors on staff to provide the Industry standard training to our employees at a fraction of the cost. The following certifications can be found in a number of our highly skilled employees:

-  IPC-A-610D Certified IPC Trainer (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies Acceptance Standards - Standard comprehension evaluation)

-  IPC-A-610D Certified IPC Specialist (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies Acceptance Standards - Standard comprehension evaluation)

-  IPC-J-STD-001D Certified IPC Trainer (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies Acceptance Standards - Psychomotor skills evaluation)

-  IPC-J-STD-001D Certified IPC Specialist (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies Acceptance Standards - Psychomotor skills evaluation)

-  IPC-7711 / 7721 Certified IPC Trainer (Rework and Repair of Printed circuit Board Assemblies)

Inovar has dedicated numerous resources to implementing high quality training to help our employees succeed in their job. All new employees are provided with 7 full days of training as a part of their new hire orientation. Training topics include; Quality Management System Orientation, Lean Manufacturing, Documentation requirements and J-STD-001D application specialist certification. We feel that our employees are the heart of the business and that we need to provide them the tools to help them succeed.
